The Sonic Drive Deluxe is based around the preamp section of the SDD-3000 delay, and modified to allow for awesome distortion tones.

The Sonic Drive Deluxe features two independent drive controls that you can toggle between at any time.

This unique circuit can go from an always on tone enhancer to heavy distortion.

Controls

Drive 1 / Drive 2
Set your two desired drive levels that you can toggle between at any time.

Volume
Controls the output volume of the circuit.

Tone
Rolls of the amount of high end present in the signal. 

Clean
Blends back in your clean signal. Turn clockwise for more clean, counter clockwise for less.

Right Footswitch
Toggles between your two drive settings.

Left Footswitch
Engages and disengages the pedal.

Version History

V1.0 (Released Nov '24)

The initial release version of the Sonic Drive Deluxe. Housed in a Tayda 1590BB enclosure. Used Tayda mono jacks, flip-flop relay bypass and gain toggling.

V1.5 (Released Feb '25)

Switched to Gorva S90II enclosures. Switched from Tayda jacks to Neutrik PCB mounted jacks. Now uses MCU-controlled relay bypass and gain toggling. Redesigned PCB to implement better circuit design practices and to accommodate the new enclosure style.
