EXP. 1338 – Mass Extinction (The LAB)
EXP. 1338 – Mass Extinction (The LAB)
THIS PEDAL IS A 1 OF 1, AS PART OF OUR LAB SERIES. THE LAB INCLUDES PROTOTYPES, ABANDONED IDEAS, OR COMPLICATED PEDALS THAT HAVE VERY LIMITED RUNS.
The Mass Extinction is a fuzz pedal originally based on the Wooly Mammoth. This version includes an input transformer, meaning you can place it anywhere in your signal chain. It also has some circuit and control changes to make it a super cool pedal to use.
Controls
Distortion
Distortion controls the overall level of distortion.
Destroy Switch
The Destroy Switch does all sorts of craziness. Down is standard mode, up is destroy mode. Expect more breakup, a gated sound, and all around more destruction.
Volume
Raises or lowers the output volume.
Tone
Rolls off high end frequencies.
This pedal is a prototype of a potential future pedal. It may never come out. As of now, it's a rare 1 of 1.
NOTES:
Because this is a prototype, there are a few things to note.
Firstly, the distortion knob is wired backwards. Turn counter-clockwise to add more distortion.
Secondly, the Destroy Switch has three positions. The pedal is only functional in the up-most and down-most position.
