EXP. 533 – The Street Fuzz
EXP. 533 – The Street Fuzz
The Street Fuzz is a high-gain two transistor fuzz circuit based on the classic BazzFuss that works on both guitar and bass. A wide range of sounds are available, from creamy overdrive to full on “wall of sound”.
The circuit includes input and output buffering when engaged, meaning it sounds great anywhere in your signal chain.
The pedal is in a compact enclosure, making for an easy fit on any pedalboard. Inside the enclosure, you can find a few additional controls for more tone options.
Controls
Drive
Drive controls the amount of distortion present. Crank it all the way up to totally destroy your signal, or leave it low for some nice mild fuzz.
Vol
Controls the output volume of the circuit
Tone
Rolls of the amount of high end present in the signal, taming some of the fuzz frequencies.
Internal S2 Gain Trim Pot
Controls the amount of distortion the second gain stage provides. The pedal ships set at 50%, a good sweet spot.
Internal Low Cut Switch
Cuts out some of the low frequencies to reduce muddiness and provides more of a high-end boost.
